We have opened a Westpac account from here and was wondering if HSBC offer this too? I called HSBC and they were talking to me about offshore accounts but that's not what I'm after! Carol I am also an HSBC customer and asked at my local branch. They said they charge £100 to introduce me to their Global arm which can sort local bank account in Australia. The charge has so far put me off from seeing if there is any advantage to staying with HSBC due to the limited number of branches. Does anyone bank with HSBC in Australia on these forums?
