Candygirl
Has anyone taken these bottles with them to Oz? My Mum bought a few of these for me years ago and I would like to take them for sentimental reasons, but I don't want to cause a drama at the Port over them. Would they consider them to be food material even though they are in sealed bottles and not for consumption?
blossom
Mmmm, it's a hard one. I think they would probably count them as food. Have a look at the aqis website, they might have more info, or contact details to check with.

Have a look at the aqis website, they might have more info, or contact details to check with. If you have the weight to spare, bring one over in your luggage. Declare as you arrive. They will destroy it or let you out with it. Have the others packed in a box ready to post. If its under 2kg, mark it as 'small package'. Its cheaper. Generaly it comes out on the plane, but may also take a boat ride and appear 4 months later. If you get the first one through customs in your posession, the package should be ok. Plus your container will have no suspicious stuff for them to get in a tizz about.
