ghostgirl Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 Hi there, I am a 22 year old from Northern Ireland (currently living in Yorkshire) and I am hoping to move to Sydney on a working holiday Visa very soon! I am taking a bit of a risk & not applying for jobs before I go, good idea? Terrible idea?! I have been in touch with many tourist attractions (I currently work in tourism) and all seem to have casual work available soon so maybe someone will want me!! Most employers who want casual, WHV-type workers want people to start immediately or within a week or so. They certainly won't be interested in anyone still overseas. Wait till you get here.
