Bob1
I'd put this on trip advisor and see what you get back. You can be at the Pinnacles in 2 hours as they've opened and you can see them in about 10 mins so two days seems a bit excessive. I'd stay one night - catch the Pinnacles as the sun is going down and all the tourists have gone - probably won;t have to pay - and great for photography as the shadows are long. next morning go to Lancelin and hire sandboards, have fun on the tunes then head to kalbarri after lunch. Stop off at Geraldton on the way to see the seagull memorial and the cathedral.

Yeah we stopped off here last year and you don't need long at the pinnacles, worth seeing but an all day event it isnt.. And we made the mistake of being at natures window late on, flies like you've never seen , and that includes worse than anything scotland's midges have ever thrown at me! You'll have an awesome time with that itinerary, we are heading over for Christmas but haven't got the time/money on this trip to do something similar now we have the little nipper with us. Will just have to wait till we make the move for good...cue impatient drumming of fingers...

Candygirl
Agree about the Pinnacles, you could walk round it quite quickly - the flies are a nightmare. Are you planning on going to Wave Rock? We drove 5 hours to get there. A long way for us POMS but where else in the World are you going to see a rock shaped like a wave!! We did a camping trip from Kakadu to Uluru - briliant. Lichfield is beautiful and lovely to take a swim to cool off. The Katherine Gorge is spectacular. Try not to get the canoe that my OH had, he spent most of the time bailing it out!! Have a wonderful time
wakeboard1980
I would say you are spending one night too long in Kings Canyon, Ayres Rock and Kakadu. Make sure when you are around Darwin/kakadu that you visit Litchfield national park and swim under ther waterfalls. You want to try and stay a night at the Daly Waters pub in the NT as well. One of my best nights there, there was a guy playing the guitar and singing with chickens on his head.
