Gethsemene Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 Hi I have accepted a job in Jesmond Newcastle starting last week of March and will be moving out there on the 16th via a brief stopover in Melbourne. I am going to be living there at least four months and then moving to WA again for work. A few questions if that's ok: Should I get a flat in Jesmond or closer/further from the city? How good is public transport in Newcastle or will I need to get a car (four months is a tricky timeframe) is there much going on in Newcastle for a 26yr old guy (more into folk music and theatre than metal and clubbing) I am assuming $110k+LAFHA (till July) and supra should be plenty to live on.... does anyone live in the area who may want to meet up?
