Bobbsy Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 I have to agree--at least partly--with cluster13. We've always found we got the best deals by phoning the airlines direct. We don't just stick to Emirates (though they are very good) but ring round any airline that we're willing to consider. FYI, twice now we've ended up with Air New Zealand for price--it means a longer flight because you have to go via Auckland, but the service is good and we've actually come to enjoy a few hours at Auckland airport--quiet enough to be pleasant but enough things to do to pass the time.
