We would like to settle in Adelaide but are sooo scared about not getting jobs pretty soon after we arrive. my husband is a plumber and me a welfare/ health centre manager (sexual health specialist), can anyone offer advice, reassurance, tips . . . Guest guest33730 Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 Nat, Welcome to PIO - hopefully you will have any questions answered as you move forward in your application etc. We love Adelaide, it's a great city and comes high up in many polls of great places to live. I don't know how long it will take to find jobs however I do know that tradespeople here are in great demand as the Government here is trying to boost it's population significantly and therefore construction of new homes is still going strong.
