Calling anyone who has done the Manchester - Brisbane flight recently....

Could you please settle this for us...We fly on Sunday morning and the flight stops in Munich for an hour, do you get off? or are you just sat on the plane waiting? I am sure I read somewhere that you get off but then have been told conflicting advice.

Also what happens regarding the meals? and what snacks etc are included? Can you get a drink only at certain times?

We did Manchester to Sydney with Singapore Airlines, yes you get off the plane at Munich. It was for less than an hour and you keep the same seats, though you have to take your hand luggage off with you.

Meals are a good standard and if you're hungry between them (which i doubt) you can ask one of the attendants for a snack. They regularly come round with the drinks trolley, which is free and also frequently walk up and down the aisle with trays of fresh orange juice and water.
