Mongrel
Hi bob , We brought our border collie Robbie over thro petair , sadly we had to have him put to sleep last year , can I ask your opinion on the heartworm injection, he was plagued with red swollen feet since 6 months after we brought him over . All the vets gave him was steroids which did little , we put it down to moving to a different area , but having seen articles and posts about the pro heart injections it fits , he only started the allergy at the same time as the first I jection Thanks Malc Edited January 28, 2013 by Mongrel

BobPetairUK
Dear Mongrel To be honest, i know little about the heartworm injection, we dont use it in UK and when i worked in Australia it was not around then. Typically, redness of the paws is a contact allergy so it would tie in better that Robbie went over to Australia and started to come into contact with something new and he was allergic to it. Sorry he has passed away, one of my pets is getting to that stage and i just keep putting my head in the ground, even though i am a vet and should know better Bob
