basil
Q really for Bob at petair as they will see volumes of animals.... Just how rare is it for a dog to fail their bloods and be refused or cause delays to export from UK? Reason being we'd like to send our house shipping a good 6-8 weeks before we and the dogs fly out. If the dogs then failed their bloods and couldn't go, then we wouldn't go (and would need to ship our belongings back to the UK!) Trying to decide if this is foolish or a low-risk gamble really
BobPetairUK
Dear Basil It is super unlikely that your dogs will completely fail their tests and not be allowed in. in 7 years and probably around 1200 dogs to Australia, i can only recall 3 dogs who could not go, so this is a low risk gamble. Just make sure your vet keeps the Lepto vaccination away from your dogs as this is a controllable aspect which can cause problems. Give us a shout if we can help.
