Hi, glad you've got here ok, and got your rental sorted out. If you buy the local newspaper at the end of the week, there is a section in the classifieds where all your local garage sales for the weekend are listed. Hopefully you can find some stuff to tide you over if no-one on here has anything going spare!

Re white goods have you looked at KMART sale washing machine $299 which i have one of those another 399 friend next door so both recommended. freezer and fridge also in sale. those prices probably work out better then rental or buying second hand with no guarantee

good luck

hi
why dont you rent from radio rentals til you buy what you need. They do white good, furniture and electrical goods as far as i know. It may be an option so you dont waste money on saomething you regret buying just cos you were in a hurry.

radio rentals want you to rent for 18mths or the prices rise quite a bit.you would be better approaching a smaller company i think

Georgie

we looked at mr rentals and would be tied for 18+ mths and if wanted to come out of the contarct would be quite expensive they work out how much left on rental then you pay a big proportion of that so really need to look at that option carefully.

Hi

We are renting in North Lakes and have been here nearly five months. There is a lot of houses up for rent at the minute on here, If you go on realestate you can look on there. There are a few estate agents on North Lakes and most of them do rentals. I think the least you can rent is for 6 months which is what we have done, we paid 3 months rent up front, but that was our choice as we then knew we didnt have to worry about rent for a while. If you want to break your lease you have to pay your rent until the EA finds another tennant and you will be charged for advertising the property. Also if you are wanting to put any children in North Lakes State College you have to be renting within this catchment area and we had to take our rental agreement into the school so they could enroll.

Nic
