Singles - Shared Accommodation?

I’m still in the waiting line for my 176 but have been researching what to do when I get there. I’ll be coming over myself and was looking to move into shared accommodation for the first couple of months. Not some grotty backpackers/travelers but a decent place to stay with working professionals. I’ve looked at realestate.com and places are available but just wanted to find out if anyone has had any experience with this?

I wouldn’t be silly and arrange this before I go. I would arrange a place to stay and scope it out when I get there.

Can't help you but just wanted to say I love your Avator - Gregor used to live not far from us and i often saw him around Paisley in his Saab convertible!!

Have a look at Gumtree, its a good site for share accommodation. You do get the odd scammer on there like anywhere but you sound like your level headed and scams can normally be spotted a mile off.
