Hi Clare!
Can't help with a place to stay yet............but might be able to soon, as we leave for Berwick on 28th Sept. I'm panicking slightly now as we still havn't got a place to live!! My husbands new employer is going to view a place tomorrow for us so i'm keeping everything crossed!
Was thinking though that when we get there I could look out for something for you?
Take care Emma x

We have short term furnished rentals in Berwick www.moving-to-melbourne.co.uk but I think you will need a long term tenancy if your considering 12 months. What is your budget? You will probably struggle to find a 6 month tenancy there are not many at all

Hi Clare,
I think your sorted on this one but as I got a reply from one of my family, Not too much help, but I thought i would share it.
"we're in a bit of a housing crisis at the moment - probably like the rest of the world. Interest rates have risen heaps and there is very strong competition for rentals in
the Berwick area, and they're not cheap either. You'd be lucky to get
a house for under $300 per week and units aren't that much cheaper.
Most people use agents such as: Barry Plant, Judd Real Estate, Frank
Facey Real Estate, Bruce Grant Real Estate, L.J Hooker Berwick
You could probably find contact details/info for these on the net.
Sorry but we don't know anyone who is renting privately.
Surrounding areas such as Officer, Beaconsfield and Pakenham may be a
little cheaper."
