terrigal houses to rent

Please help
my oh got a job offer this week and they want him to start the 1st september so oz here we come (yes i have to pack entire house in 2 weeks). We got flights no probs but trying to get accomodation is just not easy so if anybody is living in the terrigal area can you help. We land the 28th august and need 2 preferably 3 bedrooms , furnished with a bit of garden if poss as the kids will drive me stirr crazy if in house all time. We were trying to rent something initially for 3 weeks with the view to extending but is that considered holiday or short tert or long term lease................

Sorry to rant but we are running out of time

Hiya congrats to hubby on his job offer !! you will pob find if you search for holiday lets or furnished lets youll have more luck ,this should cover the few weeks you need,in that time have a look around and search for some longer term lets in an area you like,longer term lets go from 6mth stays upwards.Good luck with everything

I live ten minutes from Terrigal, I could ring round for you on Monday if you want, PM details of dates etc do you have to be right in Terrigal? where is hubby working? will he have car or need to be on bus route? etc I have two children age 7 and 6 how old are yours?

Have you had a look at www.realestate.com.au & click the link for rental & type in post code 2260 as this will cover Terrigal & very close suburbs to Terrigal like Wamberal for example.
We are currently on our 2nd rental in Terrigal & hubby has been in this area since 94, we have some friends who will be renting out a fab property on a very large bit of land at Tumbi Umbi in november in a beautiful setting (if you only get a short rental could be of use to you)

thanks for the link it has proved helpful. We going to stay up late sunday night to get all agents in the morning. As for the cold it seriously cant be as cold as scotland , it is suppose to be summer but all we have had is local flooding.

thanks for the help it is really appreciated. No doubt i will pm you and everybody else in the next 10 days and then haunt you all when we arrive as having panic attacks about it all and leaving friends and family .
