No wonder you are having trouble getting into Oz they all operate on happy people I dont think you would fit in. As for dog owners I am sure all us dog owners on here are responsible I am no I am maybe the neighbourhood you live in is the problem. Try talking to your neighbour rather than shouting
I don't expect to have any problem getting in -where did you get that gem from???.
What planet are you calling from -give me the co-ordinates so I can tune in.
Like previous poster you have not bothered to read post - I have spoken to neighbour and their response "THEIR DOGS DON'T POO!
also indicated that i didn't think that any of the responders fitted into this category but sorry - did I hit a raw nerve?

We just cant believe that there are no allowences made for newly migrated people who have spent alot to bring there pets, and lived under a different set of rules in England so are therefore not used to these regulations.
Yes you did hit a raw note this website is supposed to be for people to get friendly and helpful advice about relocating not for people to put down dog owners in general.
It is hardly our fault that you dont get on with your neighbours that is the point I am trying to make it is stressful enough relocating to Oz without someone ranting on about irresponsible dog owners.
People on here are looking for advice and helpful hints at least that is what I want and so far everyone else has been extremely helpful and polite.
Sorry you feel like that but everyone is entitled to express an opinion whether you like that opinion or not. I wouldn't normally respond to a thread about dogs but the comment below from one of the posters did not go unnoticed and deserved a rant.
"We just cant believe that there are no allowences made for newly migrated people who have spent alot to bring there pets, and lived under a different set of rules in England so are therefore not used to these regulations."
I would also like to clarify (yet again) that I was not talking about dog owners in general - only irresponsible dog owners.
Secondly, believe it or not, I get on well with my most of my neighbours, some of whom have dogs believe it or not (responsible dog owners with well trained dogs of course) who fully agree with me.
Well I felt like the rest of you "Yes my doggy will defo be coming!" but, he is 7 months and has got through god knows how many shoes, but I forgave him, bless his little furry feet! Then this morning I got up 7.15 to let him out went around the house "deep cleaning!" as we are trying to sell the house so just in case an illusive viewer were to call. Then got back downstairs from scrubbing the bathroom to find my lovely little furry baby had dug a huge whole in the grass and had decided to then run around the living room and all over the furniture and all over my net curtains with his lovely muddy paws arrrgggghhhh! I reckon he really in on his final written warning!
Anyone want a 7 month old Labradoodle?
(no not really!)
