rentals on sunshine coast

well, off to the sunny coast in 5weeks 5 days 15 hrs and 41 minutes but whos counting!! antway, have been reading about the difficulty in getting rented accomadation on the sc. can anyone who's already there confirm or deny!? surely there must be something about! we've already sorted out 4 weeks in a holiday rental and were hoping to secure a 3 or 6 month lease in that time. is this a realistic timeframe or should we seriously think about booking another month? many thanks in advance.

Hiya ,the rental market can be tough but i think youve allowed yourself enough time with 4 weeks.I always manage to secure clients a rental within 3 or 4 weeks so try not to panic ,find and view as many as you can, approach agents direct for the latest properties ,realestate.com is great but can be a few days out of date, also make sure all your paperwork is copied and ready to submit with applications ,,good luck with everything
