Sorry to hear of your bad experiance Karen.

However I think this post goes to show that this does not just happen in Mount Martha it happens everywhere. Perhaps if you had found a nice rental you would have liked it here, just like the majority of us!!

We secured a lovely short term rental before we came here so were lucky. (4-6 weeks holiday rental). I would advise anyone not to sign any longer than 2-3 months without seeing the property first (especially if you have never been to the area before) as there is noting worse than not wanting to go 'Home'!!

There really is not much to dislike here if you come with an open mind and make the most of your new life!!

Deb xx

Would relocation experts be worth there money then ? We don't know where we will end up yet but looking at the job adverts there does seem to be plenty of work for the OH near Newcastle NSW.

We live in Melbourne and there is definately a rental shortage here! It is coming to the stage where so many people look around a house for rent that there is an aution on the rent! The highest bidder wins! We had about 25 to 30 people look at our rental house! good luck.
