Looking for a fully furnished home to move into - Brisbane area, 2-3 bedrooms..

Coming to Brisbane end of August.

Really need to sort a FULLY furnished home - ideally 2-3 bed townhouse - in a northern suburb 20mins or so from CBD.

Anyone know of anyone I could contact or know of average weekly rent costs?

Ive tried realestate.com.au & they're aren't that many fully furnished places available.

My girlfriend & I would love to move in somewhere thats fully furnished.

Sorry I can't help with your dilemma, but believe it or not myself and my wife are looking for similar and wondered if you'd found anywhere yet or could point us in any direction. We arrive in Brisbane on Sept 11th and have nowhere to go as yet - we are looking for fully furnished also.

Scott have you tried family friendly homes ,they have a few furnished houses ,not sure where exactly but know they are over that way.

Try seqrents they are good furnished/unfurnished short/long term rentals all over from city to the coast.
Thats who we got ours from.

We will be moving towards end sept/oct and as yet have no idea where we will live. The idea is to rent until we find an area we like but initially need a fully furnished short term rent until we find somewhere permanent and our furniture arrives. Ian and I both orginate from Bolton but now live in Chorley. I have sponsored job which takes me all over queensland, Ian is a tiler who will be looking for work when we get there. Such a lot to do and not much time to sort out. If you can help great if you cant do you know where we can find info

We had the same dilemma.
We rented unfurnished in the end and just rented the furniture.
Our Landlady was great she helped with it all.
We are in Manly, on a complex with pool etc. Only min drive from the bay and beach. Only 20 min from CBD. My husband's journey was always clear no hassle of traffic from this route.

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like we have somewhere temporary for the 1st month while we look for somewhere more permanent, be it rental or to buy. (Probably rental though).

We are going to stay near Newstead in what appears to be a new f/furnished apt block over-looking the river. We will need to hire a car until we buy one.

Anyone got any ideas about renting/buying cars in Brisbane?

Where did u get your temporary accomodation from?

Im findin it difficult finding a place. Did u need to pay any bond? Or did u pay for the 1st month up front? Any need for references? How much u paying for it?

I need a fully furnished place myself, close to CBD ideally.
