Moving To Brisbane Qld???

Hey I work Delfin at Springfield Lakes (24kms from Brisbane) I'm a pom myself, have been here for 18months and work in real estate if anyone has any questions or would like to receive information about Springfield Lakes then please feel free to contact myself by email:

andy.nutton@lendlease.com.au

I'll be more than happy to advice on purchasing either land and building your dream house or buy a brand new home - and trust me Springfield Lakes is a great place to live - in fact it's just been awarded 'Best Masterplanned Community within QLD 2007'...

I have dealt with many people moving out here from all over the UK and they love it - i've never heard a bad word said about the place, and once you move out here the only things you will miss will be family and friends. The lifestyle is just so much better.

Look forward to speaking to you soon,

Kindest regards,

Andy.

Springfield Lakes is about 10/15 mins from me and is a lovely area. The school carries a good reputation and the new shopping centre is great with all the big name shops. Its handy for everything too.

Smile Thanks!!!

Hi everyone, just thought i'd thank you all for all the positive comments that I've received- i've had an overwhelming response through emails and pm's (as i've been sleeping you've all been writing) so i'm working my way through them, hopefully should have all the information to you today, if you are awaiting a response from myself. I guess, I came up with this idea as so many of my clients at Springfield Lakes are from the UK so I thought that I may aswell give people a head start with offering my service while they were still in the UK as i've experienced the transition myself, and at the same time try to promote what a wonderful place Springfield Lakes is, if you would like to see an overview of the area I would reccomend checking out the following link:

springfield lakes

hi all, we where on a reccie of brisbane last month, got offered a stunning job in carole park 5 mins from springfield lakes.. i agree in some points and not in others on the area,,, we found it such a very dry and arrid place(as oppossed to north lakes north of brissie) and also some of the streets looked pretty run down with rubbish in the street and grass not cut! .... ok this was in the older part of springfield lakes... but still they where asking $400k+ for these houses!!, the lake and shopping center is great and the new part of the lakes looks fantastic, but as with these new estates all the houses are kinda crammed together with literally 4 ft between homes!!,,
am i being a snob?.. er no... we couldnt even afford to live there, and even if we could .. im sorry it just wasnt for us.. we didnt really "feel" anything .. same in forest lakes just up the road too.. just couldnt get the " feel" of the area.... shame too as i had to knock back the best job ive ever been offered... damn!
please dont be offended if you live in theses places.. but we personally couldnt get into the area at all,,, the strange thing is when we where in uk we where adamant that south brissie was the place for us,,,,, however after our reccie we have decicded that north brissie is for us (bit more greener.... dont ask .. just seems that way to us..lol).. so just goes to show that a reccie is so important,,,, next bit of news is wife doesnt want to go to oz at all now...... too far!!!!! but then she changed her mind,, then changed it again..... i give up... im buying a caravan and moving to a layby near edinburgh..lol.
