Congratulations on the job offer!!

We have got a dog and yes there are some rentals that will not accept dogs however there are also some that will. We had no problem finding somewhere that accepted a dog. I would have a look on realestate.com.au most that will not accept a dog will say in the description.
I wouldnt worry as there are loads of people that I know with dogs and renting with no probs.

Hope this helps

Hi Deb!!!
Thanks very much for that... its reassured me hugely!!! I have to say, in this whole process, she`s given me the most grey hairs!!!! I wouldn`t mind, but she often a bit slow coming up with the rent... she snores... she does very little around the house... i could go on!!! Ha ha... what can you do... !!!
hope all well with you & life is good!!!

Hi Skip
We do short term accommodation where you can keep your dog. We have just let out our other house on a 12 month rental and we also accepted dogs in that property, so there are landlords around who will accept pets. Have a look at our site if you get desperate: Melbourne Furnished Rental Property and Relocation assistance, new arrival settlement help, airport pickups and meet and greet services You could also get someone to care for your dog until you find a permanent pet friendly rental Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, & Pet Minding in the Melbourne suburbs. Doggy Daycare, Pet Boarding & Pet Taxi Service also available.
