What do i need to bring from UK?
Hello,

I am emigrating in December to Oz, Sydney. Just wanted some advice-we'll initially stay with friends, but will be looking to rent pretty quick. What will i need (If anything) to bring from UK? Ie previous rental agreements, references etc etc?

Any help greatfully received.

Hi
Bring any rental referances that you've got as they may come in handy. We have just moved into a rental & as we had owned our own home in the UK we didn't have any referances so we had to pay rent up front to secure it. Also, it may be a good idea to get a character referance from your Oz friends.

Donna, if you use GHD's do bring a pair of them as they are twice the price here in oz
(i know thats not quite what you was asking about but thought you migt like to know)
bring uk drivers licence and any other id's always handy & letters that you may have to say that you were a good payer/tennant/etc etc also any references from ex employers along with certificates always handy for jobs here

Thank goodness someone asked that question (what's GHD) I hadn't a clue

I do know these hair straighteners but didn't put them together - dah!
OH got me too ( I know that's to do with Husband's and I'm being thick)
