Hiya short term theres not much around Jimboomba ,,long term(6mth +) you should sort something within 2 or 3 week. There are a few agents in Jimboomba who do rentals and although the websites are normally a little out of date if you go into the shops themselves they will give you a list of what is availble and when. You then go and 'drive by' them see which take your fancy and apply. If you have all the documentation at hand(pref copys) you should secure one ok.I would advise to start searching as soon as you arrive as most seem to be availble in 2 weeks time, end of month etc.(hope that makes sense, basically they normally advertise it before the current tenant has moved out),,Most propertys seem to be 4 bed although theres a few 3 bed + study normally,if your kids are a little older why not try and find one with a teenagers retreat or granny flat,,hope this helps you a little,,

have just had a quick look and prices seem good. we are looking at renting for about 6 months before we buy or build our own. they do look really big too but having some where for the older ones to go would be great as they do argue alot at times. actually scrap that some where for me to go and hide away from them now that would be great. rach
