home and work

Me and my family are looking for a home to rent in the port kennedy area
I am a bricklayer I have a wife and alittle girl of 5 years old
I am also looking for a job bricklaying
so it would be very much appreciated if anybody could help
Also is there plenty of work in this area for brickys

I suspect you'll find it difficult renting a house before you get here. They are in short supply and most agents would rather deal with someone who is already here. Besides, how will know if you like the house or location?

You might be best renting a serviced appartment / hotel for when you're first here, then looking for a place to rent.

Hi

We managed to arrange a rental before we arrived but actually wished we hadnt!! A friend of ours viewed it for us and said it was great, but............as soon as we arrived we knew we had VERY different tastes!

As the previous poster said - look at renting a serviced apartment while you view houses - that way you'll get exactly what you're after which will help so much with settling in.

Good luck with the job hunt.........sorry I cant help with that :)
