Dear friends I am searching for a shared accommodation in Melbourne...please advise...thank you.

Have a look on Gumtree or Realestate.com.au. I note you have a family and I think it would be hard to find a share house. Most shares are single young people.

I am coming alone first...after few months I will bring my family...that is why searching for a shared accommodation...for myself

I have a couple of friends who live in melbourne I can ask them if they know anywhere. i think the gumtree site has had short term lets for mature people ( I looked for myself for east sydney) and I am like you wondering for the best short term option although I have a friend on the other side of sydney I may taker her up on her offer for a couple of weeks to sort myself out!
