Short-term accommodation in Parramatta area, Sydney

Hi all, I am looking at moving to Parramatta at the end of October as I have had a job offer. Does anyone know of any reasonable short-term accommodation. I thought I had found some but they say I can only enquire a month before. I only want to pay a maximum of $700 a week. Tracey

Try quest serviced apartments at rosehill ,quest are usually reasonable and i think that's the closest one to parramatta

I did a search for furnished rental accommodation on www.domain.com.au for Parramatta and there seemed to be plenty of places available in your price range. If you are going to be easy walking distance of Parra railway station it might be nicer to take a place in the City and get the train out - 30 mins. Normally, I hate commuting but I like living in Surry Hills and Central Station is less than ten mins walk and there are plenty of trains to Parra.

Do the trains run from central station before 7am at the weekends as well, I was looking at Surry Hills
