Hoping for our visa grant in the next few weeks(fingers crossed) and we are hoping to fly out for our reccie trip on 26th December. We are hoping to arrive in Perth on the 28th and are going to be staying for 4 weeks. Been looking at all the usual websites stayz, select stays etc but just cannot not seem to find anything within our budget. We were wanting to stay NOR and didn't want to spend more than $950-$1000 per week but I'm finding it extremely difficult. Any ideas anyone?? Getting very frustrated

IELTS Passed 16/04/2011 R8, W8, L8, S9, Skills Assessment sent 05/07/2011, Positive Skills Assessment 11/11/11, 175 visa application submitted 05/12/11, CO Assigned 01/05/12, medicals finalised 14/05/2012, police checks uploaded 24/05/12, VISA GRANTED 30/05/12!!! Activation 26th Dec-24th Jan 2013!

We wanted to get a proper feel of the place, so we think staying a house is really important. Don't want it to feel like a holiday if you know what I mean. Am thinking now we might have to think about different dates but wanted the kids to be out of school for the least time possible. Obviously there are houses available but more like £1000 per week! And I thought we had an ok budget
