Indooroopilly
Hello
I am moving to Brizzie in Sept with the other half.
Am looking to get a serviced apartment for 1 month whilst we find our feet, probs close to CBD.
I have heard good things about Indooroopilly. Can anyone offer some insight?
I know it has a large Shopping Centre & a Train Station but what is the place like to live in? Plenty of restaurants & bars/pubs would be ideal.
Look 4ward to hearing from someone!

Several restaurants only one pub as far as I know. Typical Aussie pub. It can be hard to find a good pub in Aus.
There's a couple of pubs I know of in Toowong (rail - 5 min, 2 stops cityside), popular with UQ students and not bad. One is called the Royal Exchange the name of the other escapes me but you'll soon hear about it?
Nearby suburbs are good places to live (Chelmer, Graceville, Taringa etc). They range from riverfront multi-million mansions down to +$500K places. Units may be a bit cheaper?
Indro is on the Ipswitch line about 20min from Central Station (about 6 stops?). I lived in Chelmer/Graceville for a while and would definately consider going back there.

Karen,
We have been looking at Anstead. Could you please tell me all about it??? We are hoping to get an acreage property close to good schools. Are there pubs/restaurants nearby? How are you finding it so far? Hope you don't mind giving me an insight :)
Thanks,
Tracey.
