Hello.

I can't recommend any agents through personal experience but there are loads of people on here that will. Go Matilda, Visa Bureau, Thinking Australia. These are all names that come up regularly. I think it's a personal thing. I would call a few up and see if you get that 'feeling'.

I will be going to the Gold Coast with my family once we have our visas. It's brilliant. Loads to do. Both for adults and children. Weather is fab. Humid and really hot for about just two or three months a year.

Some nice areas in my opinion are Robina, Pacific Pines, oh I don't know why I am listing them! Majority of the areas are lovely. Beaches are fab. It's not cheap though. Both house prices and the cost of living is high. In comparison with the UK from what I have experienced. But there is loads of work as it is growing constantly.

Erm.....I'll have a think of other things to say!

Kate

Hiya welcome to poms in oz ,the problem you haveis there are too many nice areas to choose from ,lol, work wise i dont think youll struggle anywere ,property building is booming especially south of the city so brickies are always in demand. We are inland from the Gold Coast, property a bit cheaper ,everything within reach and not too far for a day at the beach or trip into the city.My kids were 2 and 7 when we came out and they love it here ,they settled very well ,my now 4yr old goes to kindy 3 days a week and we do activities in the park monday and tuesday ,all free of charge and provided by the council. My son who is 9 goes to flagstone primary which is in the middle of our estate ,he enjoys going on his bike some mornings and meeting up with friends en route ,,your kids will love the outdoor lifestyle Oz can offer ,i know mine do ,good luck with everything ,if you need any help feel free to drop me a pm,
Cal x
