Has the Sunshine Coast lost it's sunshine?

Can anyone tell me......(I've heard from a couple of people over on the Sunshine Coast that the weather has been really miserable with L-O-T-S of rain...even in the dry season!)

Just made me wonder if the Sunshine Coast's weather is as 'sunny' as it reckons?

Thought it best to do a bit of a 'market research' survey...and ask the folks that know what they reckon?

we need the rain so yep there as been a fair bit over the last few months but noone is realy complaining .May sound weird but its actually nice to get some rain when you know it dosnt last and the sun is shining regardless,,

..... spoke to mate in brisbane who says its been raining all this week.....fly over 3/7/08 to start a new life.... a couple of weeks in raby bay... house hunting... car buying..etc then start work 4/8...i hoped like u the weather was better in winter i am not sure if its just heavy showers or rain all day i am sure somebody will answer u........

Not quite on the sunny coast but quite near, the weather has been great except for a couple of weeks ago when we had some much needed rain and boy did it rain!!!!!
Ive been here since February and we have had very little rain, but as Cal says no one seems to mind the rain as we need it so much. Most of this week and last its been 24 and mostly sunny (cloudy this morning though)

We live on the Sunshine Coast and it hasnt rained here this week..Its now Winter and it has been cold...22 degrees cold...The sun has been out all week:)

It rained here in Marcoola for the first time in a few days this morning. It's been beautifully clear and sunny every other day.

I'd rather have a nice bit of rain regularly than go back to the two minute showers!

Hmmmm................ 22 degrees for a winter's day?! I could live with that! lol.

All the experts are saying that Oz is getting colder and will get more rain in the next few decades due to global warming....the locals say it is definalty changing to a cooler wetter Country.

Rained all day yesterday here...I got no hot water now as we are solar ..And I cant find the switch to heat the water!!!!
Back to sunshine today again:)
