Info on Life in Brisbane

Hello All

My wife and I are thinking of emigrating to Brisbane Can someone tell me some positive things about life in Brisbane!! and also where the best suburbs are to live as there are so many to chose from!!!

We have a 4 year old son and another one on the way so must have good schools and be family friendly ideally near the beach!!

Thanks for your help

Lewis and Trudi

If by beach you simply mean golden sand and somewhere to swim safely with the kids, the check out the suburbs on or around the Redcliffe peninsula (Woody Point, Redcliffe, Kippa ring), or up a bit further round Burpengary, Narangba, which are not far away from a choice of beaches at Redcliffe and Bribie Island. If you want miles of surf beach and waterparks etc you could look at the southern towns between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The laggoon at Labrador on the gold coast is fantastic for kids ,mine love it there.Nearby or not too far away places i like are runaway bay, coomera, upper coomera etc ,nearnag and labrador itself arent the best for family living.Have you looked at property prices on Real Estate | Homes for Sale | Houses for Sale | MLS Listings | REALTORs | Real Estate Agents - RealEstate.com as the prices can sometimes help in choosing an area, lots of suburbs near the beach are ridiculously priced.Jobs can be another factor too have a look at alljobs.com or SEEK - Australia's no. 1 jobs, employment, career and recruitment site hope this helps a bit
