Now then just wondering what the music seen is like in queensland , we are moving early July and looking to set up a Beautiful South cover band up asap , if there are any interested musicians out there please get in touch .

we are going as soon as visa comes and house sold, don't know what music scene is but have heard that lots of british groups tour there .we love beautiful south and would definatley go and see !

Hi Graeme & the gang.....you have a new band member..ME !! but I can only sing 'blanket on the ground'... was brilliant in benidorm...guy wasnt impressed though.. he'd only gone to the loo, when he came back i was on stage with the singer...!! It was like the PG Tips money advert...' You play it, I'll sing it ' !!!!
Hi Cal... knew I should have saved my kareoke machine....we could have had a good sing song round the pool ! .. maybe not though, guy's threatening to throw me in and dunk me... well i think Ive got a good voice............... its just everyone esle who's tone deaf !!!!! xxx

If you were heading to Adelaide you would have a guitarist. I will be looking into something similar in South Oz.

lol, i always do beautiful south on karaoke,lol, i currently mithering the hell out of gary for a proper machine that i can alter the key of the song etc (he isnt going for yet!)lol,,one of my favorites is Dont Marry Her, i watched them in concert in manchester years ago and fell in love with them then,,i will deffo be going to watch you Graeme & cathy,no doubt Deb's will be with too heh Debs???

Thanks for your reply but really do need some band members quickly , we'll have to get it sorted asap i'm buzzing at the thought of a new start . I dont suppose i would have any problem recruiting if people new who i'm related to . The problem is i would like to do it off my own back .cheers

Can you not list what type of band members you need ? you may get more response ,also what about advertising on gumtree brisbane ,its free and loads of people go on it ,you may get some response from there,good luck and keep us all informed wont you,we are getting as excited as you think me n debs will be your first groupys,lol,,

Hi ,I love beautiful south, well I am from Hull. I have not heard them since I have lived here in melbourne 3 years now, but there were on Parkinson the other day on aussie tv, unfortunately the programe must of been about 6 years old, but it was nice to see them. All the best with moving here, and your band.

Aye up plumb......... when you all get famous just remember me ,i was trained by the IBA (international body guard association) would even be a rodie/drink fetcher ......you could even ask earlswood to do the international press release. I am sure you can trust deb and cal to do a very good doooooo wap doooooo wap . .
