Well this time 2 weeks we will be on our way to Brisbane. We have got most for our things sold off that we where not taking with us,sofa , TV we even got our double bed sold. The house looks like squatters have moved in,and only yesterday someone bought my Alfa romeo. Don`t think i will be driving one of them when i get to OZ. So all i have to do now is to get rid of all these second thoughts i am having, and am i doing the right thingBut as you are all saying "bit late now Greg you have sold everything you own" Just have to take the bull by the horns and get on with it.
Hi Greg, It's all exciting & scary at the same time isnt it. Enjoy you last 2 weeks in Ireland & cherish the time with family & friends. All the best stuju

Hi Greg
I wish you all the best with your move, if you go with your eyes wide open all should be fine, i think its like moving away from your parents all is fine until you you realise you are on your own! but after a while things fall into place and you never look back. (hope thats not frightened you off) know that your starting from scatch think of it as a positive as you can fix all those mistakes you made the first time around. baby steps all will work out if you want it to.
Good luck i hope all your wishes and dreams come true
Hi,thanks everyone for all your replies, and i know if i have any problems Cal and Gary are there to give us a helping hand, like free dressing gowns.........
Best of luck Greg....must be hard seeing all you're belongings being sold off and leaving your home behind...but on the bright side....what a shopping spree you are set to have once you land in Oz and start 'afresh'!!
It's funny how we get soooo attached to materialistic things isn't it.....when I have 'the wobbles' I just think "...so what....I'll buy new when I get there!!".
Cal sounds like she's going to look after you, so at least you're going over there to be met by someone.
Best wishes....keep us post on how you get on.
Jenny

Hi Greg
Your thread made me laugh - can't wait to be in the same position as you but have a house to sell - GULP. Won't expect not to have second thoughts who wouldn't - it's only natural. It's OK though you are allowed out if you don't like it (I think). Just remember why you are going in the first place and Brissie is FANTASTIC it's gotta be ten times better than where you live now.
HAVE FUN FUN FUN
Come back on here when you get sorted and tell us how great it is and how much to LURVE it!
Lots of luck xxxxx
Lez Greg in Brissie
