Nearest Nursing Agency to Jimboomba?

Hi, I'm thinking of doing some agency Mental Health Nursing for a couple of months around the Logan/Beaudesert area to find my feet and test the waters!

Could anyone advise me of the nearest agency i could contact and get the ball rolling hopefully when i get over there in the coming months!! I presume it will be in the CBD, hope not!!

hiya i was employed by Southern Cross Care they are all over ,but my office was at Mt Gravatt (covers Beauy and logan),there really are loads,Ozcare is another and Blue Care another big concern who cover Beauy ,i would contact them directly like i did rather than go via an agency,they always advertsie for staff,hope this helps a bit

Thanks Cal, you always come up trumps! Been looking at Logan hosp & Beaudesert but they dont seem to have email contact us addys.........

logan is by far the busier for now ,Beauy shut lots of departments there buut are slowly opening them again ,they both have A&E but Logan has the xray dept etc so most folks just automatically go there.There is loads of community work if you fancy that.i will see what contacts i can find for logan will just have to go and bath the kids before they turn my bathroom into a pool!!lol(sshh did i say bath ,,awwhh level 6)

o.k the Director of mental health at Logan is Neil Pratt ,emails it says are generally firstname_lastname@health.qld.gov.au ,(there is a lower dash between first and last names(_),)i would try emailing him and see if you get anywere ,i wouldnt hold your breath though,lol.
