Hiya most rental propertys allow dogs so you shouldnt struggle too much, normally they ask you have it pet sprayed when moving out which is no big deal.We stayed not too far from indorpilly in Chapel Hill, nice leafy suburbs just a bit too near the city and built up for me,indorpilly has a massive shopping centre you cant possibly get bored in,lol!
Id rent a car for 2 or 3 weeks to allow you time to buy one ,if your going for second hand have a look on Gympie Rd or the Magic Mile at Mooroka ,both roads have stacks of car garages,,good luck with everything

indooroopilly is i very nice area, Its close to the CBD some good pubs, right on the river. Its urbane yet rural (if you know what i mean) quite a few snobs though. If i had the dough, it would certainly be up on my most desired placxes to live in Brissie.

The "hip croud" refer to it as "Indra'" BTW
