North Lakes, Mango Hill, Murrumba Downs

Hi All,

Really interested in these areas and some areas south of Brisbane river. We have heard that North Lakes and the other areas above are a nightmare in the morning. We will be travelling to the city.

We can see Petrie station and Bald Hill as well being the nearest. Realistically for those working in the CBD ( say Central station), how long is it door to door. Is the situation going to worsen if these suburbs grow and grow or are provisions being made to build a better infrastructure?

Hi Jay,

We are heading out that way in September and have friends in Murrumba Downs and Kallangur, I am not sure about North Lakes but there is a station in Petrie and my friends say it takes about 30 minutes to get into the city.
