Hi to everyone.Moved to the Gold Coast from London about 8 weeks ago.In our clan there is my wife,myself & 3 little ones aged 4 5 & 6!Loving the lifestlye & the way of life,the kids have settled in so well,its amazed me & the other half.Everything has run so smoothly,its beginning to scare us,especially when you read some of the stories on the site.We came over on the student visa,my wife is studying hairdressing,and I even managed to get a 20hr a week job.Just a question for the people in the know,what is the success in gaining permanent residence when the course has finished and the 900hrs completed.No one seems to be able to give a confident answer,even the college!If you know PLEASE LET US KNOW.Many thanks

Hiya and welcome to poms in oz,im glad ypuve settled well,them horror stories can sometimes have you worried,lol...I would imagine if you have both abided by the rules,gained employment and not gained any criminal convictions you should be ok.Sorry its not a definate answer but i rekon your chance are pretty good.Maybe one of our agents will read your post and put your mind at ease.
