Cannon Hill Brisbane

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anybody could give me some information about Cannon Hill Brisbane. We are being relocated to Brisbane with my husbands job and his office will be in Cannon Hill. Just wondering if the area is nice and whether it or the surrounding suburbs are family friendly? We have a 6 and 2 year old. We currently live in Perth and are about 30km from the CBD, ideally I'd like to live resonably close to the office so hubby's commute isn't a nightmare but want somewhere that the kids are going to be happy.

Dont know anything about this area except its close to the city.According to my Where2 live guide its says;;;
Cannon Hill is bordered by parklands and a bushland reserve.Set on undiluting hills many homes have city scape and bushland views.Endless shopping in Plazas and warehouse style outlets.Queenslanders and workers cottages dominate.
couples with kids - 39.4%
couples without kids - 40.0%
Single parents - 17.1%

Hi

We live in carina and cannon hill is just round the corner, don,t know wot that area is like but carina is ace my 14 month old goes to nursery in tingalpa (athlone road) which is a 5 min drive from where we are. you have a big shopping centre at carindale and on the corner of creek rd and wynum rd you have a shopping centre as well.If you have any more questions just pm me.

oh and there are a few rental places here at carina there is carindale views, and another place round on kate street (sorry can't remember name)

doh sorry got cannon hill mixed up with camp hill,

But ther are a few renal places in tingalpa which is close
