Hairdressing Teachers

Hi to all
Just recieved our visa today wahooooooooooo.

Looking at moving to the Gold Coast, just a quick question if anyone can help. Looking at teaching in a TAFE (have been a haidresser for the last 23 years and also hold my UK teaching certificate and own salon but not for long!!!!!!!!!)
Any info would be greatly recieved.

Hi

We first visted our migration agents on 18/9/06. TRA sent Oct 06 and accepted 30 Oct 06. Then we heard nothing for ages. We went to Aus in Feb 07 for 3 weeks and phoned the agents when we got back. They advised they had had a letter asking for meds & Police checks, but when they opened it, it was addressed to someone else! Oh Hum
In the middle of May (!) we were asked for meds & police checks. Meds completed 25/6 and all other docs posted the day after.
Then the real testing time - the waiting!!!!!!! (It seemed to take for ever!!!!!)
OH had a dream this week that we would sell the house and that the visas would come. (Well we have got a second viewing on Sunday and the visas did come today, so maybe he knows something I don't)
What stage are you at? and where are you going to?

Hi,
had x-rays on monday doc said they were fine, have meds in 3 wks(soooooooooo scared) and police checks should be here soon.Hopefully will get a YES of No off oz by xmas..

Hi

Dont worry about the medicals!!! They do your weight, height and reflexes. (And the wee sample!) They also check your eyes and not too much more!!!

The Doc we saw was great - our kids saw him at the same time and he really put them at ease!

Congratulations guys,,get that house sold n bags packed and join us lot having fun out here.I dont think you'd go wrong buisness wise on the coast,have a look where the new shopping centres are being built for a shop oppurtunity,,good luck with everything and you know where i am if you need anything,believe me this place makes Bury suckkkk!!!!!!!lol
