Kids, daughters 18 & 16 son 10.
We have completed our applications & meds ect and now waiting for our visa's (fingers crossed). We are looking at moving to the Gold Coast area in Aug, if all goes to plan.
Any advise on work, areas to steer clear of, schools ect would be great.
I have just recently found out that plumbers have to gain a licence before they can work, any info on this would also be great.
Hi ya! We are in exactly your same position - the waiting is horrible - feel really in limbo! Anyway, we are also heading to gold Coast around Sep / October. We really like it around Burleigh Heads area - same some lovely houses, good schools etc. We have 3 girlies aged 8, 7 and 3. There is also a spreadsheet showing newbies going to Gold Coast - should put your name on that!
