Would anyone be interested in 3 bed Rental on arrival in OZ?

Hi

We are due to go to Australia in September - I have a question that may or may not interest Expats arriving in Brisbane area....

We are looking to buy 3 bed houses in Ipswich,Manly, Winnham areas - has anyone found it difficult to rent a property on arrival in OZ? I have aske dthe question to specific financial and Real Estate people over there - the feedback has been positive.

We are looking to have this up and running by end of Sept/beginning of Oct 07.

In the process of applying for visa still, hope to be in Oz August next year if all goes to plan!
If we end up in Brisbane then yes we would be interested

We would be interested we are hoping to arrive in the Brisbane area in October, but we have a dog who would be joining us after she has done her 1 month in quarantine, she is a german shepard called Ellie who is 8 she is very clean and doesnt do any damage we would be looking to rent for 2 to 3 months. Let me know if you would allow pets.

Dogs should not be a problem as we have our own - we are going to Canberra and already have property to live in. We have toyd with the idea of actually puchasing prior to September to get the ball rolling - Christine, where are you looking to go?? We have looked at some properties on line and they seem to be vialble regarding purchase prices etc.

I will let you know in the next few weeks about specifics.

If any one else is interested in others, please let me know. We are looking a possibly 3 properties to work with.

Hi Angie

We are hoping to be there in October all being well if the house sells, we are looking to live somewhere between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast as our daughter wants to go to Brisbane Uni to do a teaching degree. We originally wanted to live in the sunshine coast but the Uni up there doesnt do her course. We would rent anywhere North of Brisbane as a base till we decide which area to buy in.

We are just waiting for our visas and should be in Brisbane by Sept very latest. Staying with relatives & friends for couple of weeks but hoping to get a rental asap. Would be very interested. Have 3 children and no pets! Thanks
