Where in Brisbane?

What are the best places in Brisbane for a 4 bed house under $400k, coming over in June/july looking for the best areas for schools and value for money. As we are not sure where we are going to be working yet could you also suggest areas to rent in until we have had a chance to scout around?

Well you got a pretty large area to choose from ,you will find it easier to delete areas by what you dont want ,,were does it look better for you occupations? how far from schools & shops? how near to the beach ? how much land/room you want ? built up areas or abit more open ? try and answer some of these and i will try point you in the right direction of some lovely areas, have you looked into the new land estates ?

We rented in Jindalee at www.centenaryquays.com.au

Jindalee is in the western suburbs. About 12 ks from the CBD. Like Cal said tho - where are you going to work and what do you want from a rental? Centanry Quays is a gated community so very safe for kids. Riverfront propertys and pool too. Rental around the 350-380$ per week
