Hiya we arrived in November and our son stayed off school till the new year started in January ,this gave him time to settle before we chucked him in the deep end ,,he is now doing really well and has made lots of friends .Dependant on where you are heading ,,,i would possibly arrange a caravavn park or motel for a week or so as rentals are becoming harder and harder to get ,,too many people not enough houses,,hope this helps a bit

Thanks for your reply. Why oh why is the commute times sooooo longs here? I can't get it? With all this land mass you would think that there would be a better infrastructure for the population especially when you think that loads of people are coming over in recent years?

Hi all, Cal can l ask what school your child/children go to ? we are hoping to go to Brisbane but we haven't fixed on a definate place yet. What is it like where you are? Our kids are 11, 9 and 5. Cheers Smith Tribe

Hiya Zak goes to Flagstone State School and Jodi goes to Flagstone ABC centre ,the schools are in the middle of a large estate that is growing by the day ,we have found everyone to be friendly and helpful ,the teachers at school are great ,Zak's teacher got him the natinol anythem on cd and printed out dangerous creatures and highlighted which you may find around here ,,all in her own time ,,we love it ,,we have bought a bigger plot on the outskirts of the estate ,enough room to play but near enough to other people and kids ,,you dont have to travel far to get anything you need ,plenty of shops around and about,if i can help anymore just ask
