car hire places to stay

we are off to aus in oct 07 and iwas wondering if we should sort the car out this end or shall i wait till i get there to do it we are going to brisbane to have alook around the cleveland area where we are thinking of ending up any one now of any places to stay (reasonable price) cheers dean cant wait to go

Hiya we arranged a car to be at the airport for when we arrived,we hired it for 4 weeks giving us time to buy one and get our bearings ,there are lots of different companys about some offering very good rates ,i'd search the web and e-mail for a few quotes,,
places to stay however are few and far between ,lots of people stay in motels or the caravan parks for a few week until they get a rental ,,good luck with everything

I hired a car from Red Spot Car Rentals in Brisbane and they were great
