Any beauty therapists out there heading for or living on the sunshine coast? Curious to find out what the wages are like, and the demand for such a postion.
I cant comment specifically on Beauty therapies but I'm a Holisitic & Beauty Therapist and I have heard that alternative/complementary therapies are well sort after due to people being interested in trying alternatives before immediately seeking medical help for common problems. I assume that sometimes its more cost effective for them. Some therapies are also covered under the MediCare system in Oz.
Due to this demand, I would assume that beauty therapies are also sort after.
Perhaps you could do a Google search for beauty therapy in QLD and see what turns up.
