We spent xmas this year in Bundy ,its a lovely place albeit a little too hot for us.It is quite rural and farmish but looked very community orientaited they are building a new Woolworths etc as there didnt appear to be loads of shops at the mo and its a long way down that highway to Brisbane, but a great place for an outdoor animal orientaited lifestyle.
Take Care

How is it going in Bundaberg?
I've been offered a job there and will be moving in October 2008.

Hi
My wife's uncle and aunt live in Bundy and we've visited them a few times and have found it quite a sleepy town with a strong community feeling, the majority of the residents are middle aged and ove. Bargara is a nice seaside resort with some café's and restaurants and of course you have the famous Bundy Rum Factory not to be missed. As somebody else mentioned it has the feeling of a rural farming community, the housing is very affordable, strangely enough I'm in the process of doing a mortgage for a client at the moment in Bundy, not masses of work but it depends on what your looking for.
Well good luck with the move and if you need any more help just email me I'd be only too happy to oblige.

Cheers Paul
