Hi,
We are moving to the sunshine coast early November, to Caloundra. If anyone wants to hook up before we go , or indeed, once we get there, it would be nice, as we don't know anyone over there, we are just jumping in cold so to speak.

Hi,
We are still waiting ,hope to hear about 2-4 weeks then if the answer is yes we will plan to move out April time next year, so we will definately need lots of friends as we don't know anyone, still unsure of where we will live looking at Caboolture but most places look lovely. Does anyone know of places to keep clear of, we are obviously looking for a place with young familes :D
Keep in touch

Hi Lee & Julia

We too are hopefully heading for Brisbane. We were hoping to head out there around about April/May next year depending on when we get the visa. Hubby is a carpenter too, I'm an admin manager and we have a 4 year old son.

We are thinking about the Carina area of Brisbane but it will obviously depend on where the jobs are.

Hi everybody,
Visa's accepted today, only took 18 months from start to finish, looking to go May/June after all the kids birthdays (grandparents) and the house is sold. Visa application acknowledged on 1st March and medicals on 31st august. Hope this gives you some kind of time scale. Any info we can pass on just ask.
