This is my first trip to Australia and we are staying in one of the northern suburbs of Brisbane.
I have to say that I am impressed with Australia. I confess that after all my husband's raving I wasn't sure I would agree and find the place that good. Happily I was wrong.
I love the southern suburbs. I found some decent shops today so am delighted adn reassured no end. I found some great beaches on the Sunshine coast and everyone is just lovely. I think the people are the best bit - so kind, generous, happy and relaxed. Everywhere is so clean - I haven't spotted a single piece of litter in 4 days (the full extent of my visit so far).
My fave place so far is Caloundra and I am already house hunting in this area. My daughters loved the beaches and my husband is so happy that we are moving here he will live anywhere. I am also job hunting for anywhere within 45 mins of Brisbane. Does anyone have any good suggestions for families?
