After all the blood, sweat and tears we finally got visa,booked flights and then found out every convention,exbo and mothers meeting seems to be happening in Brisbane the week we land,am having real difficulty finding a place to stay ,thought we had one but it looks like it may have fallen through, any one got a tent we can borrow,even a big piece of canvas will do :D
Weve got a 9 person tent in the garage. Aint in Brisbane though. ;-)

What about a hotel for a couple of nights until the conventions, expos, and mothers meetings are over??? What happened to the accomodation you thought you'd got booked?
Find out the local newspaper and put in a plea for someone to offer you a room(s), you know ... a bit like a student coming to live with you for a while!!
After the fiasco with the visa, you should have known it wouldn't be easy
The place we thought we had was through a real estate agents and they said they would send pics and details of the place they had but as yet these pics and details have not materialised,we are reluctant to pay deposit untill we see what we are paying for,we will phone them again tonight. Should have knowm it wasn't going to be easy :roll:
