teneriffe

Hi I moving to Brisbane in August from Sunny (ish) Scotland and have been looking at rental properties in Teneriffe. My office will be situated on Grey Street on South Bank, can anyone give me a rough Idea on distance and how easy it would be to cycle to work ?

Also the properties im looking at would leave me aroun $2500-$3000 after paying my rent, would this be enough for a decent level of lifesytle?

cheers Gaz

Crase Street (as an example) in Teneriffe to Grey Street, Brisbane is quoted at 4.14km by foot, or 4.33km by car.

Distance checked by:
http://www.whereis.com/whereis/directions.do

As an example of living costs, we can live OK on about $1,300 per fortnight, (after accommodation costs) for a family of three, with 2 cars, and a child in Private school. Other funds are required for main holidays etc.

Different people have different expenditure styles, so it is difficult to answer fo each individual. eg: If you have a wife that loves Shoe Shops, that can make a difference, if you don't ........ (lucky you :D )
