GOLD COAST WEATHER IN JULY

Could somebody tell me if its worth flying to Gold Coast in July for a holiday.Is it beach weather coming from Perth.

Daytime maximum temps varied between 19.3°C and 25.6°C

9am temperatures varied between 14°C and 20°C whilst the
3pm temps were between 16.1°C and 24.4°C

It is the middle of winter still and does feel cold to locals. I think the beaches will be pretty empty, but still nice for some.
